HG/T 4335.9-2012 is the ninth part of the recommended Chinese chemical industry series on the treatment and disposal of acid spills, and it covers hydrofluoric acid. It describes the physicochemical properties and the hazards of the acid, then prescribes the emergency measures to be taken when a leak occurs and the methods for dealing with the leaking site. It is applicable to the treatment and disposal of hydrofluoric acid at a content below 70 percent when it leaks during production, storage, use, handling or transport. GB 2890-2009, GB 12268-2005 and GB/T 24536-2009 are quoted with it. Issued on 28 December 2012, it has applied since 1 June 2013.
