Part 2 of the HG/T 4335 series, HG/T 4335.2-2012, covers what to do when sulfuric acid is spilled. The Chinese chemical industry standard records the physical and chemical properties of sulfuric acid and the harm it can cause, and on that basis lays down the emergency measures for a leak, the treatment of the spill site and the disposal of the material that has escaped. Like the rest of the series it is a recommended standard, filed under the Chinese class Z05 and ICS 13.030.20. The documents it draws on are GB 12268-2005, GB/T 18664-2002, GB 20266, GB/T 24536-2009 and AQ 6102. Issued on 28 December 2012, it has applied since 1 June 2013.
