HG/T 4219-2011 is the English-translated version of 磷石膏土壤调理剂.
HG/T 4219-2011 is the recommended chemical industry standard of China for phosphogypsum soil conditioners. It states the requirements for the material, the test methods, the inspection rules and the rules for packaging, labelling, transport and storage. The product it covers is the phosphogypsum recovered as a by-product of wet-process phosphoric acid, made up mainly of calcium sulfate dihydrate and intended above all for the improvement of alkaline and calcareous soils. Its determinations and general provisions are taken from GB/T 6679, GB/T 6682, GB/T 8170-2008, GB 18382, GB/T 19203-2003, GB/T 23349-2009 and GB/T 23456-2009. Issued on 20 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
