HG/T 4203-2011 is the English-translated version of 工业碳酸锰.
Manganese carbonate for industrial use is the subject of HG/T 4203-2011, a recommended standard of the Chinese chemical industry. It lays down the requirements for the product together with the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, labelling, packaging, transport and storage.
Its scope covers manganese carbonate used mainly as a desulfurization catalyst, in enamel paints and varnish driers, and as a raw material for making other industrial manganese salts.
Sampling, rounding of results and laboratory water follow GB/T 6678, GB/T 8170 and GB/T 6682-2008, while HG/T 3696.1, HG/T 3696.2 and HG/T 3696.3 supply the general analytical rules; GB/T 191-2008 and GB/T 6003.1-1997 are also quoted.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it on 20 December 2011, and it has applied since 1 July 2012.
