HG/T 4137-2010 is the English-translated version of 脲醛缓释肥料.
HG/T 4137-2010 is the Chinese chemical industry standard for urea-formaldehyde slow-release fertilizers. It sets the requirements for these fertilizers, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage. It covers the slightly soluble organic nitrogen slow-release fertilizers obtained by reacting urea with aldehydes under defined conditions, the main types being urea-formaldehyde (UF or MU), isobutylidene diurea (IBDU) and crotonylidene diurea (CDU), and it extends to compound and blended fertilizers that contain such a slow-release component. Chinese classification G21 and international classification 65.080 place it with fertilizers. It is applied with GB/T 8572-2009, GB/T 8577, GB/T 14540, GB 18382, GB/T 22924 and HG/T 2843. Issued on 22 November 2010, it has applied since 1 March 2011.
