HG/T 4013-2008 is the English-translated version of 化学试剂 2，2-联吡啶[合订本 HG/T4010～4021-2008].
The reagent 2,2'-bipyridine is the subject of HG/T 4013-2008, a recommended standard of the Chinese chemical industry. It describes the properties of the reagent, its specifications, the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking and packaging, and it covers the testing of 2,2'-bipyridine supplied for analytical use. The standard was drafted with reference to ISO 6353-3-1987, which it follows without being equivalent to it. GB/T 601, GB/T 602, GB/T 603 and GB/T 617 provide the preparations used in the analyses, GB/T 6682 the water, GB/T 9721 and GB/T 9741-2008 the instrumental determinations, and GB 15346 with HG/T 3921 the packaging and the sampling and acceptance rules. It supersedes GB/T 16495-1996. Issued on 23 April 2008, it has applied since 1 October 2008.
