Scope
HG/T 3954-2007 is the English-translated version of 冶金胶辊.
HG/T 3954-2007 is the Chinese chemical industry standard for rubber rollers used in metallurgy. It sets out how the products are classified and marked, describes their structure, and gives the requirements, test methods and inspection rules together with the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage. It applies to the driving and tension rollers, squeeze rollers and immersion rollers used on strip metal production lines for stainless steel, galvanized and tinned products and for non-ferrous metals, and rollers of other kinds may follow it by reference. Classified G47 with the international group 83.140.99, it is used with GB/T 528-1998, GB/T 529-1999, GB/T 531-1999, GB/T 1681-1991, GB/T 3512-2001, GB/T 9239, HG/T 2413.1-1992, HG/T 2450-1999 and HG/T 3078-2001. Issued on 20 July 2007, it has applied since 1 January 2008.
