HG/T 3929-2007 is the English-translated version of 高纯二硫化钼.
HG/T 3929-2007 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for high purity molybdenum disulfide. It states the requirements for the product together with the rules for marking, packaging, transport and storage. It applies to high purity molybdenum disulfide made for industrial use, which it divides into two types: type I serves mainly as a catalyst and as catalyst material, while type II goes into lubricants of various kinds and into lubricant additives. Sampling and analysis follow GB/T 3049-1986, GB/T 6678 and GB/T 6682-1992, with HG/T 3696.2 and HG/T 3696.3, and marking follows GB 191-2000. Classified G12 in China and 71.060.50 internationally, it sits with the inorganic sulfides. Issued on 13 April 2007, it has applied since 1 October 2007.
