HG/T 3666-2000 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for rubber tubing and hoses used in the fuel circuits of internal combustion engines running on oxidized fuels, an identical adoption of ISO 4639-3:1995. It states the requirements for tubing and hose carrying fuel that has been oxidized or acidified, fuel that may also contain compounds such as ethanol. Such hoses are intended for injection systems in which fuel circulates repeatedly, and they can suit storage systems at high ambient temperature; they are usually built from a speciality elastomer with an inner lining. Equipment for metering liquid fuel falls outside the standard, as do hoses fully immersed in the tank. It is applied with GB/T 528, GB/T 1690, GB/T 3512, GB/T 5563 to GB/T 5567 and ISO 8308. Issued on 23 May 2000, it has applied since 1 December 2000.
