HG/T 3665-2000 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for rubber tubing and hoses in the fuel circuits of internal combustion engines running on oxygenated fuels, adopted identically from ISO 4639-2:1995. It sets the requirements for tubing and hose carrying liquid fuel to which oxygenates such as ethanol have been added, and it leaves out equipment for metering liquid fuel. It covers hoses used in carburettor systems where the fuel is not a pure oxygenate, and those hoses are expected to show moderate resistance to oxygenated, acidic fuel. Its test work draws on GB/T 528, GB/T 1690, GB/T 2941, GB/T 3512, GB/T 5563, GB/T 5564, GB/T 5565, GB/T 5567, GB/T 6031 and GB/T 7759, with HG/T 2869 and ISO 8308 also cited. Issued on 23 May 2000, it has applied since 1 December 2000.
