HG/T 3583-2009 is the English-translated version of 活性磷酸钙.
HG/T 3583-2009 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for activated calcium phosphate, the material also named hydroxyapatite and known in the trade as tricalcium phosphate suspension dispersant. It defines the scope of the product and states its requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and labelling, packaging, transport and storage. The standard covers hydroxyapatite synthesised from phosphate powder, an inorganic dispersant that is not soluble in water; its main use is as a dispersing agent in the suspension polymerisation of synthetic resins, and it also serves as an additive in ceramics, biological materials and fluorescent materials. Testing follows GB/T 6003.1, GB/T 6284, GB/T 6678, GB/T 6682, GB/T 8170, GB/T 8946 and GB/T 9724, with GB/T 191, HG/T 3696.1 and HG/T 3696.3 cited too. It replaces HG/T 3583-1999. Issued on 4 December 2009, it has applied since 1 June 2010.
