Scope
HG/T 3513-2010 is the English-translated version of 渗透剂BX.
HG/T 3513-2010 is the recommended chemical industry standard of China for penetrating agent BX. It sets the technical requirements for the product and covers sampling, test methods, inspection rules and the provisions on marking, packaging, transport and storage. It applies to butyl naphthalene sulfonate, known as penetrating agent BX, obtained by sulfonating and condensing naphthalene with butanol and sulfuric acid and then adding soda. GB/T 601, GB/T 603, GB/T 2383, GB/T 6368, GB/T 6682, GB/T 11275 and HG/T 2575 are quoted in it. The standard supersedes HG/T 3513-2000. Issued on 22 November 2010, it has applied since 1 March 2011.
