Scope

HG/T 3384-2003 is the English-translated version of 过氯乙烯漆防潮剂.

HG/T 3384-2003 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for the moisture-proofing agent used with perchlorovinyl paint. It sets the requirements for the agent and covers the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions on marking, packaging and storage. What it applies to is a moisture-proofing agent blended from higher-boiling ester and ketone solvents. Such an agent has a high dilution capacity and is used together with perchlorovinyl paint thinner so that the film does not turn white when perchlorovinyl paint is applied in conditions of high relative humidity. It quotes GB/T 1250. It replaces HG/T 3384-1987. Issued on 9 January 2004, it has applied since 1 May 2004.
