HG/T 3379-2003 is the English-translated version of 过氯乙烯漆稀释剂.

HG/T 3379-2003 is the Chinese chemical industry standard that fixes the requirements for perchlorovinyl paint thinner, together with the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions on marking, packaging and storage. The thinner within its scope is made up by blending ester, ketone and aromatic hydrocarbon solvents. A thinner of this kind has good dilution power and an evaporation rate suited to the work, and it serves chiefly to thin perchlorovinyl varnishes, enamels, primers and putties. It quotes GB/T 1250. It replaces HG/T 3379-1987. Issued on 9 January 2004, it has applied since 1 May 2004.
