Scope
HG/T 3380-2003 is the English-translated version of 氨基漆稀释剂.
HG/T 3380-2003 covers the thinner used with amino paint and is a recommended standard of the Chinese chemical industry. It states the requirements for the thinner and sets out the test methods, the inspection rules and the rules for marking, packaging and storage. The product in its scope is a diluent mixed from xylene and butanol. Having good solvent power, it is used above all to thin amino baking finishes and amino hammer-tone paint. GB/T 1722-1992, GB 3186 and GB 9278 are the standards quoted in it. It supersedes HG/T 3380-1987. Issued on 9 January 2004, it has applied since 1 May 2004.
