Scope
HG/T 3044-2011 is the English-translated version of 通用织物增强的热塑性塑料排水软管 规范.
HG/T 3044-2011 is the Chinese chemical industry standard specifying textile-reinforced thermoplastics hoses for general-purpose water service. It fixes the requirements for three types of such hose, working between -10 °C and +60 °C at a maximum working pressure of 2.5 MPa; the hoses may also carry water whose freezing point has been lowered to -10 °C by additives. It expressly excludes hoses for drinking water, washing machine hoses, fire hoses, hoses for agricultural machinery and consumer garden hoses. An identical adoption of ISO 6224-2005, it is used with GB/T 5564-2006, GB/T 5565-2006 and a set of ISO documents including ISO 1402, ISO 4671 and ISO 8330. It replaces HG/T 3044-1999, and was issued on 20 December 2011, applying since 1 July 2012.
