HG/T 30029-2018 is a safety technical specification for the production of trichloroacetaldehyde. It sets the safety requirements for the materials used, the technical requirements for safe production, the safety technical regulations for mechanical and electrical equipment, the rules for labour protection and the working environment, and the arrangements for emergency treatment. The specification applies to the production of trichloroacetaldehyde by the chlorination of industrial ethanol. It supersedes HG A010-1983. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it on 21 December 2018 and it took effect on 1 July 2019.
