HG/T 2990-2010 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for Acid red B, the dye catalogued as C.I. Acid Red 14. It sits in the dyestuffs group of the Chinese classification (G57). What it settles is the product specification: the quality characteristics of the dye, the sampling and analytical work used to check them, and the attendant rules for inspection, marking, labelling, packaging, transport and storage.
