HG/T 2837-2010 is the English-translated version of 水处理剂 聚偏磷酸钠.
HG/T 2837-2010 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for sodium polymetaphosphate as a water treatment chemical. It specifies the requirements for the product, the test methods and inspection rules, the marking, packaging, transport and storage, and the safety requirements that accompany them. The product is used above all as a corrosion inhibitor in industrial cooling water. Its analytical basis is GB/T 601, GB/T 602 and GB/T 603, GB/T 6003.1, GB/T 6678, GB/T 6682, GB/T 8170 and GB/T 8946, with GB/T 191. Drawn up with reference to AWWA B502-2005 without being equivalent to it, the text replaces HG/T 2837-1997. Issued on 22 November 2010, it has applied since 1 March 2011.
