Scope
HG/T 2366-2015 is the English-translated version of 二甲基硅油.
HG/T 2366-2015 is the recommended chemical industry standard of China for dimethyl silicone oil, the trimethylsiloxy-terminated polydimethylsiloxane. It gives the structural formula and the product models, then the requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, and it closes with marking, packaging, transportation and storage. It covers the oil made by catalytic polymerisation from octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane, from dimethylsiloxane cyclic bodies or from mixed dimethylsiloxane hydrolysate, with hexamethyldisiloxane added. Oil prepared from cyclic bodies recovered by the pyrolysis of by-products or waste is outside its scope. The standard is classified G32 in the Chinese scheme, and it replaces HG/T 2366-1992. Issued on 11 May 2015, it has applied since 1 October 2015.
