Scope

HG/T 4804-2015 is the English-translated version of 甲基高含氢硅油.

HG/T 4804-2015 is the Chinese chemical industry standard for methyl high hydrogen silicone oil, the trimethylsiloxy terminated polymethylhydrosiloxane fluid. It gives the structure of the product and its requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking, packaging, transport and storage provisions. It applies to the fluid made from methyldichlorosilane, end-capped with trimethylchlorosilane and polymerized in an acidic medium. Density is taken by GB/T 6680-2003 and HG/T 2363 is applied with the standard, while GB/T 601-2002, GB/T 6678, GB/T 6682 and GB/T 8170 supply the standard solutions, the sampling, the laboratory water and the rounding of results. Issued on 30 April 2015, it has applied since 1 October 2015.
