HG/T 2273.4-2014 is the English-translated version of 天然气一、二段转化催化剂试验方法.

HG/T 2273.4-2014 is part 4 of the Chinese chemical industry series on natural gas reforming catalysts, and it is the part that holds the test methods. It describes how the activity and the thermal behaviour of both primary and secondary reforming catalysts are measured. The methods are meant for the steam reforming catalysts charged in ammonia plants, gas processing plants and hydrogen plants. It works with the other parts of the series, HG/T 2273.1, HG/T 2273.2 and HG/T 2273.3, and it also quotes GB/T 6003.1 and GB/T 6682. It supersedes the 2006 edition, HG/T 2273.4-2006. Issued on 14 October 2014, it has applied since 1 April 2015.
