HG/T 2273.2-2013 is the part of the Chinese chemical industry series that deals with natural gas catalysts for secondary reforming. It covers the Z203, Z204, Z206 and Sec types, giving their requirements, test methods, inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, storage and transport. Catalysts of these grades sit in the secondary reformer of an ammonia plant, where the conversion of the gas is carried further. The test methods are those of HG/T 2273.4, while GB/T 191, GB/T 6678, GB/T 8170, HG/T 2782 and HG/T 3543 are quoted as well. It replaces the mandatory HG 2273.2-2004. Issued on 17 October 2013, it has applied since 1 March 2014.
