Scope
HG/T 2239-2012 is the English-translated version of 环氧酯底漆.
HG/T 2239-2012 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for epoxy ester primers. It lays down the technical requirements for the product, the test methods used to check them, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging and storage. The primers in scope are those whose main film former is the acid ester obtained by esterifying an epoxy resin with vegetable oil. Its tests refer to general paint standards including GB/T 1732-1993, GB/T 1766-2008, GB/T 6753.1-2007, GB/T 9274-1988, GB/T 9286-1998 and GB/T 13452.2-2008. This edition supersedes HG/T 2239-1991. Issued on 7 November 2012, it has applied since 1 March 2013.
