Scope

HG/T 2158-2011 is the English-translated version of 工业循环冷却水中铵的测定蒸馏和滴定法.

The distillation and titration method for ammonium in industrial circulating cooling water is laid down in HG/T 2158-2011, a recommended Chinese chemical industry standard. The procedure determines the ammonium content, expressed as nitrogen, from 0.50 mg/L up to 100.0 mg/L. It is a non-equivalent adoption of ISO 5664-1984. Standard solutions and reagents are prepared according to GB/T 601 and GB/T 603. The method carries the Chinese classification G76 and the international classifications 13.060.25 and 71.040.40, and it supersedes HG/T 2158-1991. Issued on 20 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
