HG/T 21574-2018 is the recommended chemical industry standard of China for the lifting lugs fitted to chemical equipment. It gives their classification, type codes, dimensions and materials, states the technical requirements they must meet, and sets out the calculation of the lug and of the lifting arrangement. It is written for lugs used to hoist chemical equipment or parts of it, and it is filed under the Chinese classification G91 and the international classification 71.120. Among the documents it draws on are GB/T 196, GB/T 197, GB/T 1804, GB/T 3274, GB/T 8163, GB/T 150.2, GB/T 150.3, GB 50017, NB/T 47013.2, NB/T 47014 and NB/T 47018. It supersedes HG/T 21574-2008. Issued on 30 April 2018, it has applied since 1 September 2018.
