Scope
HG 20226-2015 is the English-translated version of 管式炉安装工程施工及验收规范.
This standard sets out the requirements for the construction and acceptance of installation work on pipe heaters, also known as tube furnaces. It covers the installation work carried out in oil refining and chemical plants, from the erection of the furnace through to the checks that have to be passed before the installation is accepted. The standard applies to tube furnace installations in refining and chemical facilities. It does not apply to the installation and acceptance of steam boilers, which are covered by their own rules. Construction and acceptance are addressed together, so that the party doing the work and the party accepting it are held to the same set of requirements.
