Scope
GB/Z 26958.22-2011 is the English-translated version of 产品几何技术规范（GPS） 滤波 第22部分：线性轮廓滤波器 样条滤波器.
GB/Z 26958.22-2011 is Part 22 of the Chinese GPS filtration series and is identical to ISO/TS 16610-22:2006. It deals with spline filters used as linear profile filters and describes in particular how they separate the long-wave and short-wave components of a profile.
It defines the spline, the cardinal spline, the natural spline and the spline profile filter, building on the overview and basic concepts of Part 1 and the linear profile filter concepts of Part 20, with JJF 1001 as the source of general metrology terms.
A spline profile filter that conforms to this part gives a spline as its low-pass result, and the order of the spline equals that of its highest-order polynomial. It was issued on 19 July 2011.

GB /Z 26958 "Geometrical Product Specifications (GPS) filtering" national standardization of technical guidance document is divided into 89, has been transformed For the national standardization of technical documents have the following 9 parts.
--- Part 1. Overview and basic concepts;
--- Part 20. Basic concepts of linear contour filters;
--- Part 22. Linear contour filter spline filter;
--- Part 29. Linear contour filter spline wavelet;
--- Part 31. Robust contour filter Gaussian regression filter;
--- Part 32. Robust contour filter spline filter;
--- Part 40. Morphological contour filter basic concepts;
--- Part 41. Morphology contour filter disk and horizontal line segment filter;
--- Part 49. Morphology contour filter scale space technology. This section GB /Z 26958 Part 22. This section drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
This section uses the translation method identical with the international technical standard ISO /T S16610-22.2006 "Product Geometrical Specifications (GPS) filter Wave Part 22. Linear Contour Filters Spline Filters ".
For ease of use, this section made the following editorial changes.
--- "This part of International Technical Specifications" be replaced by "This part of the guidance of technical documents";
--- Removed the foreword and foreword of international technical specification;

3.1 Spline
Linear combination of piecewise polynomials, smooth connection between segments.
