This guideline gives the evaluation process and evaluation method of performance evaluation of point-type smoke/thermal-fire detector. This instructional technical document is applicable to point-type smoke detectors, point-type temperature detectors, point-type smoke temperature composite fire detectors, It provides guidelines for the performance evaluation of point-type smoke/thermal-fire detectors. This guidance document is also applicable to the performance evaluation of point-type smoke, point-type temperature sensing and point-type smoke temperature composite fire detection algorithm.

3 Terms and definitions

GB/T 4718-2006 established and the following terms and definitions apply to the guidance of technical documents.
