1 Foreword

2 Scope

GB/Z 17625.5-2000 states the basic principles used to assess the emission limits of fluctuating loads, the loads responsible for flicker, when they are connected to medium- and high-voltage power systems. Like the other parts of the GB/Z 17625 guidance series it is meant to give engineering practice a workable guideline and to keep the quality of supply adequate for all users of the network. It belongs to the electromagnetic compatibility field, Chinese classification L06 and international classification 33.100, and it reproduces IEC 61000-3-7:1996 without change. The companion document GB/Z 17625.3-2000 is quoted in it, together with GB/T 4365-1995, GB 17625.2-1999 and IEC 60868:1986. It was issued on 3 April 2000.
