Scope

GB/Z 17215.682-2024 is the English-translated version of 电测量数据交换 DLMS/COSEM组件 第82部分:社区网络Mesh通信配置.

GB/Z 17215.682-2024 is a guiding technical document, Part 82 of the DLMS/COSEM series for electricity metering data exchange, setting out a communication profile for smart metering over mesh neighbourhood networks. It corresponds to IEC TS 62056-8-20:2016 and reworks and extends the UDP/IP profile of GB/T 17215.697-2018. Clients and servers are identified by system title so the identifier survives a change of server IP address, and a mechanism tells the client which address currently belongs to a title. UDP-based transport keeps application associations open while devices join or leave the network, servers can be grouped so that only group members answer a broadcast request, responses may be spread over a time window with random delays, and specific UDP ports allow header compression. The physical and medium access control layers are outside its scope. It was issued on 26 October 2024.

Introduction

At present, energy conservation, emission reduction, low carbon, environmental protection and the establishment of a sustainable society have become a global consensus. management system to promote efficient and scientific use of energy. On this basis, IEC /TC57 (power system management and related information exchange), TC13 (Electric Energy Measurement and Control) and EN/TC294 (Instrument Communication Systems) jointly established the DLMS/COSEM Energy Measurement System Transmission System.

The electrical energy part is completed by IEC 62056 (all parts), and the non-electrical energy part is completed by EN 13757 (all parts).

In order to establish a global unified and open interoperability, countries around the world have successively converted IEC 62056 into their own national standards.

GB/T 17215 "Alternating Current Measuring Equipment" is divided into several parts, GB/T 17215.6 "Electrical Measurement Data Exchange DLMS/COSEM Group The document is planned to consist of 27 parts.

According to the definition in IEC 62056-1-0, IEC 62056 DLMS/COSEM components provide special features for smart metering related communication media.

Such communication profile standards specify how to use the COSEM data model and DLMS/COSEM application layer.

Communication configuration standards refer to some communication standards in the IEC 62056 DLMS/COSEM components, or other open communication standard.

This document can be used on various appropriate technologies that can carry IPv6 traffic and provide community networks with mesh topology.

This document follows the rules defined in Appendix A of GB/T 17215.653-2018.

The communication configuration specified in this document addresses the specificities caused by the characteristics of mesh networks and the large number of devices to be managed.

1 Scope

This document provides a DLMS/COSEM communication configuration that can be used for smart metering systems in mesh community networks (NNs).

This document can be regarded as a revision and extension of the UDP/IP communication protocol specified in GB/T 17215.697-2018.

Likewise, the PHY (physical layer) and MAC (medium access control) layers are outside the scope of this.

This document specifies several features that are essential for the efficient operation of large-scale AMIs using mesh community networks. These features include.

---Identifies the DLMS/COSEM client and server participating in the application association (AA) with the system title, when the server IP address When the address changes, the identifier remains unchanged, see Chapter 6;

---Mechanism for informing the client of the binding between the server system title and its current IP address, see 5.5.3;

---Use DLMS/COSEM transport layer based on UDP to enable long-term open DLMS/COSEM application association, and Devices can leave and join mesh community networks and/or change their IP addresses, see 7.2.2;

--- DLMS/COSEM application layer and application process level security features that can be used in mesh environments, see 7.4.2;

---A mechanism to organize servers into one or more groups based on different conditions so that they can broadcast to all devices connected to the mesh network. broadcast requests, and only servers belonging to the group execute the request and respond, see 8.2;

--- A mechanism that allows responses to requests to be sent within a specified time window and with random delays, see 8.3;

--- Use specific UDP ports that allow efficient compression of UDP headers, see 6.3.3.

The scope of this document's communication configuration specification is limited to communication with the COSEM data model and the DLMS/COSEM application layer.

Aspects of the protocol used. Definitions of data structures and data contents for specific items may be provided in the companion specifications for the specific items.
