Scope
GB/T 94.1-2008 is the English-translated version of 弹性垫圈技术条件 弹簧垫圈.
GB/T 94.1-2008 is Part 1 of the Chinese GB/T 94 series on spring washers and gives the technical conditions for single coil lock washers.
Clause 3 fixes the materials with their grades and source standards - spring steels 70, 65Mn and 60Si2Mn, stainless steels 30Cr13, 0Cr18Ni9, 0Cr18Ni10Ti, 06Cr18Ni11Ti and 06Cr17Ni12Mo2, and phosphor bronze QSi3-1 - with the heat treatment and hardness that follow from each, 40 HRC to 50 HRC or 392 HV to 513 HV for quenched and tempered spring steel and not less than 34 HRC for tempered stainless steel, and the surface treatments: oxidising, phosphating, zinc plating with passivation to GB/T 5267.1 and non-electrolytic zinc flake coating to GB/T 5267.2.
Plated washers must be de-embrittled immediately. It replaces GB/T 94.1-1987, was issued on 25 August 2008 and has applied since 1 February 2009.

Foreword
This section is one of the "spring washers" series of standards GB/T 94. The series includes.
--- GB/T 94.1-2008 spring washers spring washers;
--- GB/T 94.2-1987 toothed spring washers, serrated lock washer;
--- GB/T 94.3-2008 saddle-shaped spring washers, wave spring washers. This section is GB/T Part 1 94.
This Part replaces GB/T 94.1-1987 "spring washers spring washers." Section compared with the GB/T 94.1-1987 The main changes are as follows.
--- Modify reference standard (Chapter 2);

3 Technical requirements
3.1 Material, heat treatment and surface treatment
Materials, heat treatment and surface treatment specified in Table 1.
GB/T 4240 Tempering >=34HRC simple treatment or 336HV Phosphor bronze QSi3-1 GB/T 3114 >=90HRB or 192HV - Note 1. The washer after plating must be driving hydrogen treatment immediately.
