Foreword

This section is one of the national standard "stud welding and welding nails" product family standard. The series includes.

--- GB/T 902.1-2008 manual welding with welding studs;

--- GB/T 902.2-1989 motorized arc welding studs;

This section is GB/T 902 - Part 3.

The partial modification of the use of ISO 13918:1998 Stud (PT type) "welding arc stud welding with magnetic studs and" provides a threaded and internally threaded stud (IT type), the main changes are as follows.

--- In the reference file, instead of using our standards with international standards (Chapter 2);

--- ISO 13918 does not provide packaging technology requirements in this section shall be specified (see Table 3);

--- ISO 13918 does not provide for a simplified mark, according to this part of GB/T 1237 presents a simplified mark (see 5.2).

This Part replaces GB/T 902.3-1989 "discharge welding studs." this section compared with the GB/T 902.3-1989 main changes are as follows.

--- Increasing the preface;

--- Adjust the reference standard (Chapter 2);

--- Using ISO 13918 regulations threaded stud welding (PT type, with the same old standard Type A) and internally threaded stud welding (IT Type), canceled the old standard B type welding studs (Chapter 1, Chapter 3 and Chapter 5);

--- Increase in stainless steel and nonferrous metal stud welding, and provides performance rating. 4.8 carbon steel (carbon content should be less than equal to 0.18%, and shall not be used cutting steel), stainless steel A2-50 (cutting steel shall not be used), as well as non-ferrous metal is CU2 (see Table 3).

Discharge welding Stud Welding

1 Scope

This section provides specifications for the M3 ~ M8 thread of discharge welding threaded welding stud (PT type) and a nominal diameter of 5mm ~ 7.1mm internally threaded stud welding (IT type).
