Scope

GB/T 8892-2014 is the English-translated version of 压力表用铜合金管.

GB/T 8892-2014 is the Chinese national specification for the copper alloy tube used in pressure gauges. Clause 1 splits the product by use into two levels: a high-precision level for precision and special pressure gauges, and an ordinary level for general and differential pressure gauges and other remote-reading instruments.

The standard tabulates the grades, states and specifications of the tube and sets the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking, packaging, transport, storage, quality certificate and contract content.

Compared with the 2005 edition it adds the BFe10-1-1 grade, widens the covered sizes from (2 mm to 25 mm) by (0.11 mm to 1.8 mm) to (1.5 mm to 25 mm) by (0.10 mm to 1.8 mm) and adds residual-stress requirements.

It replaces GB/T 8892-2005, was issued on 27 March 2014 and has applied since 1 December 2014.

Foreword

Accordance with the standards GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules drafted.

This standard replaces GB/T 8892-2005 "copper alloy tube pressure gauge." This standard and GB/T 8892-2005 compared to the main changes as follows.

--- Increased product classification description;

--- Remove the oval tube, flat tube terminology and definitions;

--- Increased BFe10-1-1 grades and the corresponding technical requirements;

--- Pipe specifications from the original (phi2mm ~ phi25mm) × (0.11mm ~ 1.8mm) extended (phi1.5mm ~ phi25mm) × (0.10mm ~ 1.8mm);

--- The product size tolerances adjusted and supplemented;

--- Mechanical properties increased by a predetermined short sample A;

--- Increased residual stress test requirements and test methods;

--- On the surface quality requirements for the supplement.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the gauge copper alloy tube (hereinafter referred to as "pipe") requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation Transport, storage, quality certificate and contract (or purchase order) content.

This standard is based on the use of the product is divided into 2 levels.

a) high-precision. for precision pressure gauges, special pressure gauges, pressure gauges and other instruments with a special chemical copper alloy tube.

b) Ordinary Level. Suitable for general pressure gauges, pressure gauge, differential pressure gauges and other remote instruments and copper alloy tubes for pressure purposes.
