Foreword

This standard replaces GB/T 8609-1988 "fermentation industry with Sweet Potato Slices" and GB/T 8610-1988 "Sweet potato starch industry by piece." This standard and GB/T 8609-1988, GB/T 8610-1988 compared to the main changes are as follows.

--- The GB/T 8609-1988 and GB/T 8610-1988 standard merger-oriented;

--- Increasing the tag identity;

--- Quality indicators related indicators were revised. The standard proposed by the National Food Authority.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions for industrial use Sweet Potato Slices, quality and health requirements, test methods, inspection rules, Labeling, Packaging, storage and transportation.

This standard applies to the starch industry and the brewing industry with Sweet Potato Slices.

This standard does not apply to direct consumption or manufacture of potato slices directly imported food use.
