Introduction
GB/T 8190 aims to rationally formulate test procedures for non-road engines and simplify relevant regulations on gas and particulate matter emission control.
The drafting of engine technical specifications and engine certification should be carried out in an economical and efficient manner.

The field testing procedures and calculation methods specified in this document apply to situations where a test bench cannot be used or where actual emissions data for in-use engines are required.
In this context, due to the diversity of non-road engine applications, assessing emissions from non-road engines is more important than assessing emissions from road engines.
Complex. For example, applications on roads mainly involve moving loads from one point on a paved road to another, paving roads, maximum...
Acceptable road load and maximum permissible fuel grade limitations narrow the range of road vehicle and engine sizes. Non-road engines...
The size range of machines and vehicles is broader, including the size of the engines that power the equipment. Some engines are too large to be used.
Test equipment and methods for road applications. Where laboratory testing is not possible using a dynamometer, testing can be conducted on-site or under suitable conditions.
Conduct experiments as a viable alternative.
Due to the variability and uncontrollability of field trials, the data obtained in these situations may differ from previously or future laboratory data.
The on-site data are not entirely consistent.
