1 Scope
This section GB/T 8151 provisions of the determination of the amount of silver in the zinc concentrate.
This section applies to the determination of zinc concentrates - Determination of silver content range.. 20g/t ~ 1000g/t.
2 Method summary
Samples with hydrochloric acid, nitric acid dissolved in dilute hydrochloric acid medium, atomic absorption spectrometer at a wavelength of 328.1nm, air - acetylene flame,
Measuring the absorbance of silver.
3 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only recognized as analytical reagent and distilled or deionized water or equivalent purity.
3.1
hydrochloric acid (rho1.19g/mL), pure class distinctions.
3.2
nitrate (rho1.42g/mL), pure class distinctions.
3.3
hydrochloride (11).
3.4
nitric acid (11).
3.5 silver standard stock solution
Weigh 0.5000g metallic silver (wAg>=99.99%) in 100mL beaker, add 20mL of nitric acid (3.4), heat gently to dissolve completely, boiled to remove nitrogen oxides, cooled to room temperature, transferred to 1000mL volumetric flask, 20mL of nitric acid was added (3.4), with no chlorine ions is diluted with water to volume, and mix. This solution 1mL containing 0.5mg silver.
3.6 Silver standard solution
Pipette 5.00mL standard silver stock solution (3.5) in 100mL volumetric flask, was added 4mL of nitric acid (3.4), with
Dilution water does not contain chlorine ions to the mark, and mix. This solution 1mL containing 25µg silver.
4 Instrument
Atomic absorption spectrometer and Silver hollow cathode lamp.
Under optimum working conditions for those who can reach the following indicators can be used.
--- Characteristic concentration. in the matrix solution consistent with the measurement sample solution is characterized in silver concentration should not exceed 0.06µg/mL;
--- Precision. with the highest concentration of the standard solution absorbance measured 10 times, and the standard deviation shall not exceed 1.50% of the average absorbance;
The lowest concentration of standard solution used (instead of "zero" concentration of the standard solution) absorbance measured 10 times, and the standard deviation should not exceed the maximum
0.50% Average high concentration of the standard solution absorbance;
--- Linear curve. The curve is divided into five sections according to concentration, absorbance difference between the absorbance difference between the highest and the lowest segment of the segment
Ratio of not less than 0.7.
5 Sample
5.1
Samples should sift through the 0.100mm hole.
