1 Scope
This section GB/T 8151 provisions of the determination of antimony content in zinc concentrates.
This section applies to the determination of zinc concentrates Determination of antimony content range. 0.0050% to 0.20%.
2 Method summary
The sample is dissolved in nitric acid, tartaric acid in 10% hydrochloric acid medium with thiourea - ascorbic acid solution to the pre-reduced to trivalent antimony in the hydrogenation
Substance generator, is reduced antimony potassium borohydride hydride generation, with argon gas introduced into the quartz furnace atomizer, the measurement on atomic fluorescence spectrometer
The fluorescence intensity.
3 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only recognized as analytical reagent and distilled or deionized water or equivalent purity.
3.1
tartaric acid.
Nitrate 3.2 (rho1.42g/mL).
3.3
hydrochloride (rho1.19g/mL).
3.4
hydrochloride (11).
3.5
hydrochloride (19).
Thiourea 3.6 - ascorbic acid solution (50g/L-50g/L), the day of preparation.
3.7 solution of potassium borohydride (20g/L)
Weigh 10.0g of potassium borohydride were dissolved in 500mL of potassium hydroxide solution (5g/L) in the same day
Formulated.
3.8 Antimony standard stock solution
Weigh 0.1000g metal antimony (wSb>=99.9%) in 300mL beaker, add 30mL of nitric acid (3.2), 4g tartaric acid (3.1), low dissolved by heating, and evaporated to near dryness, remove the coolish, was added 50mL of hydrochloric acid (3.4), dissolved by heating, boiling
Removing nitrogen oxides, is removed after cooling, diluted to 1000mL with hydrochloric acid. This solution 1mL containing 100µg antimony.
3.9 Antimony standard solution
Pipette 10.00mL antimony standard stock solution (3.8) in 500mL volumetric flask (3.4) diluted to the mark with hydrochloric acid
Degree, and mix. This solution 1mL containing 2µg antimony.
4 Instrument
Atomic fluorescence spectrometer, with antimony special high-strength hollow cathode lamp.
Under optimum working conditions for those who can reach the following indicators can be used.
--- The detection limit. not more than 2ng/mL;
--- Precision. The curve of the highest concentration of the standard fluorescence intensity and the "zero" concentration of the solution fluorescence intensity with respect to the highest concentration standard
The coefficient of variation of the average fluorescence intensity of standard solution, should not exceed 5.0% and 1.0%, respectively;
