Scope

GB/T 3260.11-2023 is the English-translated version of 锡化学分析方法 第11部分:铜、铁、铋、铅、锑、砷、铝、锌、镉、银、镍和钴含量的测定 电感耦合等离子体原子发射光谱法.

GB/T 3260.11-2023 is Part 11 of GB/T 3260 and describes how twelve impurity elements in tin are measured in a single run by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry.

The elements are copper, iron, bismuth, lead, antimony, arsenic, aluminium, zinc, cadmium, silver, nickel and cobalt. For bismuth, lead, antimony and arsenic the mass fraction range is 0.0020 % to 0.050 %; for copper, iron, aluminium, zinc, cadmium, silver, nickel and cobalt it is 0.0003 % to 0.050 %.

The sample is dissolved in a mixture of hydrofluoric acid, or hydrochloric acid, and nitric acid, then measured in an acid medium and calculated by the working curve method.

The document also lists the reagents, including high purity tin and water to GB/T 6682. It was issued on 27 November 2023 and has applied since 1 June 2024.

Introduction

Tin has excellent properties such as soft texture, low melting point, and strong malleability. It is mainly used in the manufacture of solder, tin-plated sheets, alloys, chemical products, etc.

The GB/T 3260 "Tin Chemical Analysis Methods" series of standards aims to establish a complete set of tin chemical analysis methods, combined with the optimization of the standard system The requirements are planned to be composed of 8 parts after integration.

---Part 1: Determination of copper, lead, zinc, cadmium, silver, nickel and cobalt content by flame atomic absorption spectrometry;

---Part 2: Determination of iron content 1,10-phenanthroline spectrophotometric method;

---Part 3: Determination of bismuth content by potassium iodide spectrophotometry and flame atomic absorption spectrometry;

---Part 5: Determination of antimony content by malachite green spectrophotometry;

---Part 6: Determination of arsenic content Malachite green-arsenic molybdenum heteropoly acid spectrophotometry;

---Part 7: Determination of aluminum content by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry;

---Part 9: Determination of sulfur content by high-frequency induction furnace combustion infrared absorption method;

---Part 11: Determination of copper, iron, bismuth, lead, antimony, arsenic, aluminum, zinc, cadmium, silver, nickel and cobalt content by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission radioactive spectroscopy.

Inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy has the advantages of simultaneous determination of multiple elements and low detection limit, and has been widely used in non-ferrous metals and their Determination of impurity elements in compounds. The method described in this document can achieve the simultaneous determination of 12 impurity elements in tin products. The method is fast and Accurate, it is of great significance to promote the production and trade of tin products.

Warning - Personnel using this document should have practical experience in regular laboratory work. This document does not address all possible security issues question. Users are responsible for taking appropriate safety and health measures and ensuring compliance with the conditions stipulated in relevant national regulations.

1 Scope
