GB/T 7679.4-2025 is the English-translated version of 矿山机械术语 第4部分:矿用运输设备.
GB/T 7679.4-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the vocabulary of everything that carries ore and men away from the face — the narrow gauge mine cars with their volume, gauge, wheelbase and coupler height, the tipping and man riding types, the trackless ore transporters with their braking and steering terms, the trackless surface vehicles, and the monorail cranes and aerial ropeways with the carrying, hauling, return and lifting ropes on which the whole load hangs. Part 4 of the series. It replaces GB/T 7679.4-2005, under the China Machinery Industry Federation. In force from 1 December 2025. Issued on 30 May 2025, it has been in force since 1 December 2025, replacing GB/T 7679.4-2005.

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting.
This document is part 4 of GB/T 7679 "Mining Machinery Terminology". GB/T 7679 has published the following parts.

This document replaces GB/T 7679.4-2005 "Mining machinery terminology Part 4: Mining transport equipment" and GB/T 7679.4- Compared with 2005, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) Added the terms and definitions of concrete mixing tank truck (see 3.1.15);

GB/T 7679 "Mining Machinery Terminology" is based on the current situation of China's mining machinery industry.
A complete set of mining machinery industry terminology standards compiled based on international standards and foreign advanced standards.

1 Scope
This document defines terms and definitions for mining haulage equipment.

3.1 Underground narrow-gauge transport vehicles
3.1.1 Basic terminology
3.1.1.1 Car volume
The geometric volume of the mine car when it is flat-packed.
3.1.1.2 Car load capacity
The product of the volume of the mine car and the loose density of the ore or material it contains.
3.1.1.3 Gauge
The distance between the inner edges of the rail heads of two rails on an underground narrow-gauge line.
Note. There are three types of underground narrow-gauge track gauges. 600mm, 762mm and 900mm.
3.1.1.4 Wheelbase
The distance between the center lines of the front and rear axles of the minecart.
3.1.1.5 hauling height
Connector height height of coupler The distance from the centerline of the mine car connector to the rail surface.
3.1.1.6 Minimum turning radiusminimumturningradius
