1 Scope

GB/T 47398-2026 is the Chinese national standard covering the rotary union - the fitting that passes steam, water or oil into a rotating drum or spindle, and whose seal has to hold pressure while turning continuously for months. It fixes the leakage, pressure, speed and endurance tests and the conditions for each. First edition, in force since 1 October 2026. 3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 41069 apply to this document.

4 Test Classification

4.1 Type test. A test conducted to determine whether the rotary joint meets all the working characteristic requirements set by the technical specifications.

4.2 Factory test. Tests that should be performed on rotary joint products that have passed type testing before leaving the factory.

5 Test Items

5.1 The type of rotary joint shall conform to the provisions of JB/T 13968.The test items for flat sealing rotary joints and spherical sealing rotary joints shall conform to Table 1. According to the regulations. Table
