1 Scope

GB/T 47266-2026 is the Chinese national standard covering persistent identifiers for meteorological data - assigning a citable, resolvable identifier to a dataset, a product or a model run, so that a forecast or a paper can point at exactly the data it used years later. First edition, in force since 1 July 2026, under the China Meteorological Administration. It was issued on 31 March 2026 and has been in force since 1 July 2026, as a first edition. The document is under the responsibility of the China Meteorological Administration. 3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Meteorological digital resources Information that can be recognized by computers and contains meteorological characteristics.
