Apocynum venetum is an important natural fiber resource in my country, showing broad application prospects in textiles, clothing, medicine and health care. GB/T 46953 "Apocynum venetum" is a fundamental standard guiding the production, acquisition, processing, and trade of Apocynum venetum in my country, aiming to regulate the production, acquisition, processing, and trade of Apocynum venetum. The technical requirements, inspection rules, and packaging, marking, transportation and storage are proposed to consist of the following two parts.

1.Raw Hemp. The purpose is to specify the technical requirements, inspection rules, packaging, labeling, transportation, and storage of raw Apocynum venetum (Rhizoma Apocynum). This document describes the corresponding experimental methods to facilitate the production and sale of raw Apocynum venetum in my country.

2.Refined Hemp. The purpose is to specify the technical requirements, inspection rules, packaging, labeling, transportation, and storage of refined hemp from Apocynum venetum. 3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Apocynum venetum (rawbluishdogbane) Apocynum venetum bast fiber used as a textile raw material.

3.2 Speck Defects such as spots, insect spots, wind spots, and mildew spots on raw Apocynum venetum affect its textile use due to diseases, pests, wind damage, and mildew.

4 Technical Requirements
