1 Scope

GB/T 46743-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering polyoxin as a product - the assay of the active components in a fermentation-derived antibiotic fungicide, the related substances, the moisture and pH, and the microbiological purity, on a biological product used against fungal diseases in fruit and vegetables. First edition, under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. In force from 1 May 2026. Issued on 31 October 2025, it has been in force since 1 May 2026.

This document specifies the technical requirements and inspection procedures for polyoxin technical grade (parent drug), polyoxin wettable powder, and polyoxin soluble granules. The test methods for polyoxin are described, including the acceptance and quality guarantee period, as well as marking, labeling, packaging, storage and transportation. This document applies to the quality control of polyoxin technical (parent drug), polyoxin wettable powder, and polyoxin soluble granules.

Note. In this document, polyoxin refers to polyoxin B. Other names, structural formulas and basic physicochemical parameters of polyoxin B can be found in Appendix A.

4 Technical Requirements

4.1 Appearance Polyoxin technical grade (parent drug) should be a uniform, loose powder, free of visible foreign impurities. Polyoxin wettable powder should be a loose powder with a uniform composition, and should not contain lumps. Polyoxin soluble granules should be uniform particles that can flow freely, are essentially free of dust, and have no visible foreign impurities or hard lumps.
