1 Scope

GB/T 46593-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering what a cement or glass works should publish about its emissions - the boundary and the scopes covered, the intensity figures alongside the absolute ones, the targets and the progress against them, and the assurance and comparability of what is disclosed. First edition, with the management system guidance GB/T 46783-2025. In force from 1 May 2026. Issued on 31 October 2025, it has been in force since 1 May 2026.

This document provides guidelines on the principles, methods, and content of greenhouse gas information disclosure for building materials companies. This document is intended to guide building materials companies in disclosing greenhouse gas information during their production and operations.
