1 Scope

GB/T 46508-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the stair gate and the bed rail - the height and the gaps that must not admit a head or trap a limb, the strength against a child pushing and climbing, the latch that an adult can work and a toddler cannot, and the fixing to the wall.
