GB/T 46371-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the signage of a battery storage site - the hazards a firefighter needs to read from outside the fence, the electrical, chemical and thermal runaway warnings, the emergency shutdown and access points, and the durability of the signs themselves. First edition, in force from 1 May 2026. Issued on 31 October 2025, it has been in force since 1 May 2026.

This document specifies the technology, installation, and use of production areas, equipment and facilities, on-site operations, and road traffic safety signs for energy storage power stations. Requirements for maintenance, testing, and inspection. This document applies to the design, installation, use, and maintenance of safety signs for electrochemical energy storage power stations, compressed air energy storage power stations, and flywheel energy storage power stations. Protection, testing and inspection management.
