Scope

GB/T 45797-2025 is the English-translated version of 道路车辆 低压电气系统性能要求及试验方法.

GB/T 45797-2025 is the Chinese national standard for the 12 V and 24 V low-voltage electrical system of road vehicles.

It specifies the performance requirements for static current, electrical balance, low-temperature cold start, vehicle withstand voltage variation, inductive load shutdown, load dump, the wiring harness system and the grounding system, and describes the test method for each of them, together with the test conditions, the measuring equipment, the vehicle conditions and the selection of test items.

Functional status is assessed against the classes defined in GB/T 28046.1. Five informative appendices list the test items, examples of static current test scenarios, electrical balance test conditions and load settings, a functional checklist and a list of inductive loads.

It applies to category M and N vehicles and not to the high-voltage part of electric vehicles. It was issued on 1 August 2025 and has applied since 1 February 2026.
