GB/T 45503-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering conformance testing of an Ethernet ECU layer by layer — the physical layer measurements for 10BASE-T1S, 100BASE-T1, 1000BASE-T1, 100BASE-TX and multi-gigabit links and the interoperability runs, the MAC frame and frame check sequence tests, the ARP, IPv4, UDP and TCP conformance, the DHCP client and SOME/IP tests, the parameter configuration, and the initialization time that decides how long after a wake-up the network is usable. At 59,500 words, with the physical layer tests taking most of it. First edition, under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. In force from 1 November 2025. Issued on 25 April 2025, it has been in force since 1 November 2025.

1 Scope
This document specifies the physical layer, link layer, network layer, transport layer, and application layer conformance of the automotive Ethernet electronic control unit (ECU).
For ECUs using TCP/IP protocol stack, this document specifies the general TCP/IP parameter configuration test procedures.
This document also provides the test procedure for the initialization time of the automotive Ethernet electronic control unit.
This document applies to ECU testing of Automotive Ethernet interfaces.
