GB/T 45745-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering keeping a load on the deck of a truck — the checks before loading, the placing and the securing itself, the lashing devices selected from the annex and the friction coefficient between load and deck on which their number depends, the blocking and limiting devices, the unstable cargo that has to be supported because it is taller than it is long, the inspection after securing, and the checks made en route. It covers general cargo, not unpackaged bulk material or liquids. First edition, under the Ministry of Transport. In force from 1 December 2025. Issued on 30 May 2025, it has been in force since 1 December 2025.

1 Scope

This document specifies the requirements for pre-loading preparation, loading and securing, and in-transit inspection of road freight transport vehicles.

This document applies to the loading, securing and inspection operations of general cargo (except unpackaged bulk materials and liquid cargo) transported by road.

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 3730.1 and the following apply to this document.

3.1 cargo unit cargo unit

A collection of loose goods placed in container containers such as pallets and bulk bags.

Note. Loose cargo and pallets together constitute a cargo unit.

3.2 unstable cargo

Goods that meet any of the following conditions.

— The bottom area is much smaller than the top area and cannot be transported upside down;

— Length to height ratio is less than or equal to 0.8 (L/H<=0.8, as shown in Figure 1);

— Aspect ratio is less than or equal to 0.7 (B/H<=0.7, as shown in Figure 1);

— Auxiliary support is required for transportation.
